The broadcasting of the "Vitebsk" TV and radio company covers the entire territory of our region, as well as a number of border areas of the Minsk and Mogilev regions, the Russian Federation, Lithuania, and Latvia. It is broadcast on its own TV channel of the same name, the republican channels "Belarus 1" and "Belarus 2", on its own radio channel "Radio-Vitebsk", and the First National Channel of Belarusian Radio. Since September 29, the "Belarus 4. Vitebsk" TV channel has been added to this list.

This is a significant event in the activities of the "Vitebsk" TV and radio company, which recently celebrated its 55th anniversary, and an example of state support for regional media. The idea of creating a regional channel belongs to the Belteleradiocompany. It was supported by the Ministry of Information and the regional executive committee.

A photo correspondent of "VV" also witnessed the debut of Vitebsk television journalists in a new format at 8:00 PM last Tuesday. And on September 30, a thematic press conference was held in the broadcast studio of regional television. It was attended by Kirill Kazakov, general producer of the "Belarus 4" TV channel, Elena Pantyukhova, director of the "Vitebsk" TV and radio company, her deputy Vadim Lapatinsky, editor-in-chief Yuri Davidovsky, chief director Sergey Orlov, chief engineer Vladimir Zaitsev, and representatives of the print media.

Within the framework of a unified broadcasting schedule on the channel, each studio broadcasts with the designation of its region. The new TV channel can be found on the frequency of 754 MHz (56th television channel) in Vitebsk and Vitebsk district, as well as in the networks of cable operators and interactive television "ZALA" throughout the region. The broadcasting volume is 20 hours daily (from 6 am to 2 am).

Viewers will be offered local news releases, reports on significant events from the life of cities and districts of the Vitebsk region, and a number of interesting series. For example, on October 9, the evening broadcast of the "Belarus 4. Vitebsk" channel will feature a television version of the regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki – 2015 in Tolochin.
