Belarus will be represented at the children's vocal competition of "Slavianski Bazaar-2024" by Zlata Yaroshevich from Postavy district
The winner of the national selection for the XXII International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk-2024" was Zlata Yaroshevich. The girl is 14 years old, she is from the village of Stary Dvor, Postavy district, Vitebsk region:
— I really love "Slavyansky Bazaar", I've been following it for a long time. And today one of my dreams came true – I will represent Belarus at this festival. I am very happy! I've been working towards this for a long time, so I'm incredibly, incredibly happy with the result. I've lost count of how many times I've tried to pass the national selection. Probably the third or fourth year. The most important thing today was to tune in correctly and not give up. Music is my life! I've been doing it for a very long time, since I was a baby. I've been traveling to Minsk for vocal lessons for many years at the Vladimir Mulyavin National Center for Musical Art. They have excellent teachers who have given me a lot. I am very grateful to them.
The chairman of the jury of the children's competition, Elena Atrashkevich, noted that meticulous work lies ahead:
— At a serious level, including under the control of the Ministry of Culture. It is possible that production centers will be involved, and necessary assistance will be provided in terms of costumes, staging, and further vocal work. That is why the national representative is determined in March, so that there is enough time for preparation. Zlata will have to go through this marathon and not break down.

At 5:00 PM, participants of the national selection for the XXXIII International Pop Song Performers Competition "Vitebsk" will take the stage. Invited artists and ensembles will help them.
