Belarusbank will commission six houses for large foster families in 2011
March 17, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Belarusbank will commission six houses for large foster families in 2011. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Nadezhda Ermakova, Chairperson of the Board of OJSC "ASB Belarusbank". She is taking part in the unified information day "2011 - Year of Entrepreneurship" in Vitebsk.
"Belarusbank built and commissioned one family-type house for foster children in 2009-2010. In the first half of this year, it is planned to open six more similar facilities in each region of Belarus," Nadezhda Ermakova said, noting that the construction of these houses is currently in the final stage. The cost of each is on average Br600-700 million.
In 2011, Belarusbank plans to continue the construction of houses for large foster families. "We intend to actively implement this charity program not only this year, but also in subsequent years, provided there is support from shareholders," Nadezhda Ermakova emphasized.
Belarusbank carries out many charitable projects, to which a certain percentage of the bank's profit is allocated annually. For example, questions of providing assistance for the treatment of children requiring high-tech operations are considered practically once a week, Nadezhda Ermakova added. -0-
