Belkommunmash will present the fourth-generation trolleybus in festival Vitebsk

Residents of Vitebsk and guests of the festival city will be able to ride a fourth-generation trolleybus from the unitary enterprise (UP) "Belkommunmash", which will be presented on July 11 in the regional center. Currently, the new model from the domestic manufacturer is undergoing tests in the regional center, the director of UKTP "Vitebsk Tram and Trolleybus Administration" Vasily Pavlyuchkov told a BELTA correspondent. The new development by the Belarusian manufacturer will stand out on the city streets thanks to its modern design. The 42003A model features a progressive interior and unit layout, and advanced electronics are installed in all systems. The vehicle is also equipped with an autonomous power source, which allows it to continue moving without contact with wires for up to 5 km. The presentation is attended by the heads of the city executive committee, the heads of transport enterprises of the regional center, as well as everyone who wishes to receive information about the new model directly from the manufacturer. Immediately after the event, the trolleybus will set off to perform its main function on one of the busiest city routes, Vasily Pavlyuchkov added. In the future, it is planned to consider the issue of purchasing the novelty from domestic trolleybus manufacturers for the regional center. In 2008, about Br10.5 billion was allocated for the renewal of the trolleybus fleet in Vitebsk, and 25 new vehicles from UP "Belkommunmash" were put into operation on city routes. -0-
