Belarusian Angelina Lomako won the Grand Prix of the children's music competition "Vitebsk-2020"
Immediately after the results of the competition were announced, the girl could not hold back tears of joy:
– I worked hard for this. What helped? Of course, it's the support of my family and the fact that Vitebsk is my native land; every time I perform here, I feel loved and know that I won't leave here in a bad mood.
– Did you watch the performances of your competitors?
– No. I didn't listen to anyone specifically so as not to get discouraged by someone being stronger than me. I relied only on myself and listened only to myself. I knew I had to represent my country with dignity, and I did it.
The first prize was awarded to Kristupas Kerulis (Lithuania), the second prize was shared by Jasmine Tleumbetova (Kazakhstan) and Vladimir Serkov (Russia), and the third prize went to Bogdana-Bianca Vistinechanu (Moldova) and Anastasia Martynyuk (Ukraine).
The day before, a press conference of the jury of the children's competition was held. All judges noted the very high level of the contestants. Singer Varvara, who has been on the jury of this competition for the third time, said that the judges were more unanimous in their assessments than ever before, sometimes the scores coincided for everyone. There were no disputes.
