Belarusian Anna Trubetskaya won the Grand Prix of the competition for young performers at the "Slavianski Bazaar".
Belarusian singer Anna Trubetskaya won the Grand Prix of the XXXI International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk" - a special prize "Lyra" and a premium of 20 thousand dollars. This resolved the main intrigue at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" during the solemn gala concert of the arts festival closing ceremony in the Summer Amphitheater. The main prize of the festival was awarded to Anna Trubetskaya by the chairperson of the international jury, People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina.
The Belarusian performer conquered the hearts of the audience. They warmly supported Anna in the first round, when young artists performed Slavic hits, and in the second, which took place as part of the closing gala concert. In the competition, Anna performed the song "Make Me Breathe" and the world hit "Highway to Hell". She impressed with the beauty of her voice, impeccable vocals, a remarkable stage image, and her stage presence was extraordinarily light, organic, and spectacular. Anna Trubetskaya simply "blew up" the 6,000-seat amphitheater, receiving thunderous applause. The "applause" from the jury were high scores – professional musicians from Belarus, Russia, Israel, Latvia, Germany, and Armenia gave only tens, and Anna scored 140 out of a possible 140 points over the two competition days.
– I did everything I could, and performing a world hit was the peak moment for me – artistically, vocally, I was in a state of absolute happiness and was ready to kiss this wonderful stage for the triumph I experienced, – Anna admitted after her victorious performance. – Perhaps the flowers from the winner of the children's competition, Yelisey Kasich, who gave me his winning bouquet at the draw and said they would be my talisman, helped me? I don't know.

Anna admitted that not everything comes easily to her, as it might seem on stage; she had a thorny path to victory. – Let it remain a secret, – said the winner. – And I dedicate my victory at "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" to my country, the festival, my team, the "Spamash" production center, which helped me prepare for the competition, my loved ones, friends, and everyone who believed in me and supported me.

The girl also shared her dream: "I would really like to receive the Grand Prix from the Head of State one day."
For now, at the festival, this only happens with the winner of the children's music competition; as a reminder, Yelisey Kasich became this year's winner.
By the way, this is the third time in the festival's history that Belarusian performers have celebrated victory in both the children's and adult vocal competitions. Such a double triumph occurred in 2005 and 2020. Anna Trubetskaya's main competitor in the competition was the Italian singer Marta. Her performance of the song "Zozulya" in Ukrainian, in a very interesting interpretation, delighted both the jury and the audience. Marta first heard "Zozulya" at "Eurovision" and fell in love with the composition, performing it herself for the first time at the age of 12.
– My vocal coach helped me prepare this same song for the competition in Vitebsk, – Marta shared. – I knew that one of the most significant popular festivals in Europe was held here, and I really wanted to represent Italy at "Slavianski Bazaar." This is my first time in Belarus, and I am happy because I liked everything – the Presidential Orchestra, with whom we performed, theRepublic, festival atmosphere. I'm taking the best impressions with me to Italy.
It remains to add, and the "Lyra" award. Marta became the first prize laureate.

By decision of the jury, second place was shared by Dimitrina Germanova from Bulgaria and Nansi from Russia, and the third prize laureates were Maria Khandanyan (Armenia) and Bek Israilov (Kyrgyzstan).

The special prize of the President of the Republic of Belarus "Slavic Hope" was awarded to singer Xon from Uzbekistan. And the special prize named after Vladimir Mulyavin for the best embodiment of the national theme and high performing skill was awarded to Kristina Mlinar (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Special prizes of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Russia and Belarus were awarded to Nansi and Anna Trubetskaya. Singer Kyle RUH from Kazakhstan received the "Song – a Path to Cooperation" award from the interstate television company "Mir".
According to Larisa Dolina, the current competition was of a very high level, and all contestants worthily represented their countries.

Perhaps the most important thing is that each of the 14 participants from European, Asian, and Latin American countries took home a piece of the atmosphere of friendship, creativity, and love that reigned at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk".
