Belarusian agro-towns can become an example for Azerbaijani villages - Azerbaijani journalist

June 9, Vitebsk District / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Belarusian agro-towns can become an example for Azerbaijani villages. This opinion was expressed in a conversation with a BELTA correspondent by Ilgar Rahib oglu Ismailov, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper "Bakinsky Rabochy", a participant in the project "Modern Belarus: An Outside View," which is taking place as part of the V Belarusian International Media Forum. Together with his colleagues, he is learning about the socio-economic development of the Vitebsk region. As the journalist admitted, he has many connections with Belarus: he studied in Minsk, often travels on business trips, and visits friends. "And after each visit, I always have the most positive impressions," he said. After getting acquainted with the agro-town of Novka, visiting the local school and greenhouse complex, Ilgar Rahib oglu Ismailov called Novka an ideal village. He noted that all conditions for people's lives and work, and for raising children, have been created here. "Azerbaijan has much larger villages than the agro-town of Novka, which has a population of 1,000 people, but such living conditions have not been created," he added. According to the interlocutor, a distinctive feature of modern Belarus is the desire to preserve national traditions and raise youth as worthy citizens of their country. On June 10, the media forum participants will continue their acquaintance with the Vitebsk region and will visit the Vitebsk State Technological University and Maternity Hospital No. 1, and will also meet with the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets. -0-
