Belarusian and Russian servicemen will undergo tests at a base near Vitebsk
From May 27 to 31, the 103rd Guards Mobile Brigade (Vitebsk) will host trials for military personnel to earn the "Valor and Skill" badge. In addition to Belarusian servicemen, participants will include servicemen from the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Russia. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Ministry of Defense.
As stated by the defense department, servicemen who have undergone training in military units under the unified qualification examination program for the right to be awarded the "Valor and Skill" badge, or its individual elements during scheduled combat training sessions, are involved in such trials on a voluntary basis. Among the main objectives of the event are to assess the level of individual training of officers, ensigns, and servicemen performing military service under contract and conscription in special operations forces, other formations, military units, and subdivisions of the Armed Forces, and the Military Academy, and their readiness to perform reconnaissance and special tasks in challenging conditions.
During the trials, the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of the participants will be tested according to the standards of tactical-special, reconnaissance, fire, physical, airborne, engineering, topographic, and military medical training. Servicemen will perform practical shooting exercises with various types of weapons, complete a forced march, and engage in sparring matches.
