Novopolotsk LLC-Naftan began supplying Belarusian additives for motor oils to India

Белорусские присадки к моторным маслам начал поставлять новополоцкий ЛЛК-Нафтан в Индию

LLC "LLK-Naftan" continues to actively develop the Asian market. In October 2015, the leading domestic petrochemical exporter supplied products to partners from India for the first time, and by the end of the year, it intends to triple export volumes to this South Asian country.

As reported to "Vitebskiye Vesti" at the enterprise, Belarusian additives for motor oils are in demand in India. Starting with a sales volume of 100 tons, the Novopolotsk manufacturer is ready to displace competitors due to the high quality of its products. Moreover, "LLK-Naftan" has extensive experience in specific, highly competitive Asian markets – it has been successfully supplying products to clients from Singapore for four years.

In total, based on the results of 9 months of operation, the company increased its product exports by approximately one-third in value compared to the same period in 2014, reaching almost 564 billion rubles. "LLK-Naftan" supplies about 95% of its production volume to foreign markets. At the same time, the share of exports to far abroad countries is constantly growing and exceeds 50%.

Industrial production in current prices increased by approximately 28.5% compared to the first 9 months of 2014, and the company intends to maintain this pace until the end of the year. Currently, the manufacturer is implementing a number of projects to modernize technological processes aimed at increasing production capacity. The volume of investment in fixed assets for January-September amounted to about 16.6 billion rubles, which is more than 2.5 times the figure for the same period in 2014. These funds were directed towards the implementation of organizational measures designed to maximize the use of the internal potential of the existing production site. This involves adjusting technological schemes in the main areas, replacing equipment with more productive ones, and improving process automation. By implementing such measures in the sulfonate additive production workshop alone, the planned capacity increase will reach 15-20%. In addition, opportunities for installing additional equipment, in particular, another line for compounding additive packages, and increasing the number of reactors in certain areas are being explored.

Currently, the production portfolio of "LLK-Naftan" includes almost 30 types of additives, a dozen types of lubricating oils, and other petrochemical products. Among the new products are an additive package for locomotive engines, as well as quality improvements to the additive package for marine cylinder engines. In this area, the Novopolotsk company is working in collaboration with Russian partners. This is a market with huge capacity, and it is precisely due to the continuous introduction of innovations that "LLK-Naftan" successfully competes with the global elite in the additive business.
