Belarusian goods will be presented at the National Exhibition-Fair in Turkmenistan

From December 13 to 20, 2014, the National Exhibition-Fair of Belarusian Goods will be held in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).

The Republic of Belarus will be represented at the exhibition-fair by leading enterprises and organizations operating in the fields of mechanical engineering, agriculture, food industry, consumer goods, etc. The presentation and sale of Belarusian products will be carried out by the Belarusian-Turkmen Trading House and dealers of Belarusian enterprises in Turkmenistan. The food product group will include meat and dairy, alcoholic beverages, fish, bakery, canned, sugar, and other products, while non-food items will be represented by furniture, building materials, tableware, glass, crystal, light industry products, including clothing and sewn goods, as well as cosmetics and perfumery, and children's toys. In addition, an open-air demonstration of Belarusian equipment (buses, trucks, tractors) and tire products will be organized on the open ground near the "Chandybil" shopping center, the venue of the National Exhibition-Fair.

On December 13, 2014, the grand opening ceremony of the National Exhibition-Fair of Belarusian Goods will take place. The event will be attended by an official Belarusian delegation headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Kalinin A.N., including representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as high-ranking officials of Turkmenistan at the government level. During the ceremony, the Honored Amateur Ensemble of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Song Ensemble "Ternitsa," will perform, which will help familiarize exhibition participants and visitors with the national culture of Belarus. Also, within the framework of the opening ceremony of the National Exhibition-Fair, a business meeting of Belarusian and Turkmen business circles is planned, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with their Turkmen counterparts.

The National Exhibition-Fair of Belarusian Goods in Ashgabat is held in accordance with the Plan of National Exhibitions (Expositions) of the Republic of Belarus Abroad for 2014, as well as in order to implement the agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan G.M. Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Belarus, within the framework of which the Turkmen-Belarusian exhibition-fair of goods was organized in Minsk from October 9-12, 2014.

The organizers of the National Exhibition-Fair of Belarusian Goods in Ashgabat are the Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, the concerns "Belgospishcheprom", "Bellegprom", "Bellesbumprom", Belkoopsoyuz, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The unitary enterprise "BELINTEREXPORT" of the BelCCI has been determined as the exhibition operator of this event.
