The Belarusian participants of the children's competition "Slavianski Bazaar" are worthily representing our school of musical art - V.Rylatko

July 15, Vitebsk /Corr. BELTA/. Belarusian participants of the children's music competition at the Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk are worthily representing the national school of musical art. This was stated today at a press conference in Vitebsk by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Vladimir Rylatko, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. Vladimir Rylatko also noted the worthy performance of Belarusian Andrei Kolosov, who took second place in the international competition of pop song performers "Vitebsk-2009". "We are also happy with the performance of the participant from Russia, who, by the way, previously studied in Gomel with the same teacher as Kolosov," he said. Today is Belarus Day at the Slavianski Bazaar, which will conclude with a pop and folklore concert by Belarusian performers. The chief director of the concert is Nina Osipova. "The concert will be interesting from a directorial point of view," noted Vladimir Rylatko. "It will feature artists of different generations, including many young performers, as well as those who are well-known and familiar to us." By the way, Tickets for today's concert of Belarusian performers are completely sold out, said the First Deputy Minister. He noted that this is perhaps one of the few concerts that generates such interest among viewers. -0-
