Belarusian and Argentine medical universities signed a cooperation agreement

July 2, Minsk /BELTA/. The Vitebsk State Medical University and the Argentine University of Medical Sciences Maimonides signed a cooperation agreement in Buenos Aires on July 1, the Belarusian Embassy in Argentina told a BELTA correspondent. The signing of the agreement with one of the largest and most prestigious medical universities in Argentina is another step towards strengthening Belarusian-Argentine scientific and educational contacts, the embassy noted. Representatives of the two universities discussed the possibility of internships for Belarusian and Argentine specialists at the universities of both countries. The administration of the Maimonides University confirmed the participation of a delegation from the Argentine university in the V anniversary International Scientific and Practical Conference "Medical Education of the 21st Century," which will be held in November 2009 in Vitebsk. -0-
