The Belarusian student conductor squad will work on the southern route of Russian Railways for the first time

August 1, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. The Belarusian student train attendant squad will work on the southern routes of Russian Railways. For the first time, the republican service squad of train attendants "Molodaya Belarus" departed from Vitebsk to work in Moscow, as reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM public association.

The squad includes 30 students, vocational school students from the Vitebsk region and the city of Mogilev. For a month, the students, as part of railway crews, will serve about a dozen "hot" routes from Moscow to Anapa, Adler, Feodosia, Yevpatoria, Simferopol, and Sochi. Before becoming train attendants, all student squad members completed short-term courses in the specialty "Passenger Car Attendant," passed certification tests, and received certificates.

The organizers of the first student train attendant squad were the Central Committee of the BRSM and the Russian company "Top-Service."

As noted by the regional committee, according to data as of July 1, 63 student squads with a total of over 1.5 thousand members are working in the region. Another approximately 5.7 thousand students and pupils are involved in the volunteer movement and are part of 35 volunteer squads. The largest number of squads are engaged in construction. Many students are involved in cleaning forests from garbage, as well as working as counselors in health camps.-0-
