The Belarusian-Israeli Center for Family Health "Bina", which will specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female infertility using modern reproductive technologies, is planned to open in Vitebsk in the summer, Alexei Sychev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOOO "Bina", told a BELTA correspondent.
The Belarusian-Israeli tandem of founders has allocated about $3 million for the creation of the center. The medical institution will be located in a building with a total area of about 1.5 thousand sq.m, modernized for providing high-tech assistance (mainly in vitro fertilization) to infertile couples. Post-IVF pregnancy support is also planned. "We plan to monitor our patients until childbirth, and preliminary agreements have been reached on cooperation in this area with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Vitebsk Medical University," noted Alexei Sychev.
The "Bina" center will implement the advanced experience of Israeli medicine and will be equipped with original equipment provided by the founder from that country. Furthermore, the possibility of Israeli specialists working in Vitebsk is being explored. The training of domestic personnel for the center has been underway for over two years, including through internships in leading clinics in Israel, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania. Issues of forming a client base have been addressed over the past five years in close cooperation with the university's medical clinic, where infertile couples are selected and examined, and then referred to medical institutions. Now, it will be possible to provide them with assistance directly in Vitebsk.
In the future, the founders are ready to open small branches in each regional center, as well as in nearby Russian cities. Their tasks will include interacting with potential clients. Subsequently, the range of medical services provided will be expanded by introducing other types of assistance, mainly gynecological.
