A Belarusian-German children's art camp will open in the Braslav district

July 24, Braslav district / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. A Belarusian-German children's art camp will open in the Braslav district on August 1, Irina Matsuk, head of the ideological work department of the Braslav District Executive Committee, told a BELTA correspondent. Young artists – pupils of children's art schools and studios of the district and students of art colleges from Germany – will gather near the village of Kolesniki for the second time. The camp program provides not only for children's recreation but also for daily artistic activities under the guidance of Belarusian and German artists: working on sketches, creating art installations, and learning new visual techniques. The final joint exhibition in Braslav will traditionally conclude the unusual camp session. According to Irina Matsuk, the Braslav district has opted for creating specialized camps that help children and teenagers realize their abilities, acquire new skills, and expand their circle of friends with similar interests. Specialized sessions for children are organized by athletes and border guards. Difficult teenagers are not forgotten in the district either. The district committee of the BRSM, together with the internal affairs department, has opened its own camp for them. -0-
