This was reported to BELTA correspondent by the Bellegprom concern. "Belvest" plans to open 20 stores in the Russian Federation by the end of August, and another 10 are expected to open in September. Currently, about 40 branded stores of the Vitebsk manufacturer are already operating in Russian cities. Thus, their number will increase to 70 this autumn. The company's footwear will be sold in Tolyatti, Kursk, Saratov, Ufa, Balakovo, Ulyanovsk, Syzran, Engels, Izhevsk, Berezniki, Perm, Orekhovo-Zuevo, and Samara. Almost half of all footwear produced this year is sold on the Russian market, the concern noted. During one autumn-winter season, each branded "Belvest" store in the Russian Federation sells up to 5,000 pairs of leather shoes. Footwear supplies to Russian stores for assortment renewal will be carried out once a week or twice a month. In January-July of this year, the enterprise produced products at comparable prices for almost Br80.5 billion, which is 17.4% higher than the level of the corresponding period last year. Consumer goods worth Br76.6 billion were produced, an increase of 15.5%. The "Belvest" enterprise was founded in 1988 by the Vitebsk factory "Krasny Oktyabr" and the German company Salamander. Since the end of 2002, "Belvest" has been a Belarusian-Russian enterprise. It produces footwear mainly from genuine leather for men and women, mostly casual, although in recent years the collection of dress shoes has been significantly expanded, and since 2009, the collection of sports-casual shoes.
