"BelVitunipharma" has released trial samples of 15 innovative veterinary pharmaceutical preparations
"BelVitunipharm" is a modern scientific and production platform for the development and production of over 130 types of veterinary preparations that successfully compete with foreign counterparts.
– Moreover, some domestic samples even surpass imported ones, – says the enterprise director Sergey Bolshakov. – Take, for example, "Tetravac" – a preparation designed to treat five animal diseases, which has perfectly replaced the popular imported "Kombovac", only ours is more effective and cheaper.
Pilot samples have already been manufactured, and 15 innovative pharmaceutical preparations are at various stages of registration.
The cost of developing one type of medicine or producing a vaccine is approximately 3 to 15 thousand dollars.
The most in-demand are hormonal preparations for the treatment and regulation of reproductive function in animals – "Surphagon VBF" and "Estrofan VBF", as well as for the treatment of skin and hoof diseases – "Help-spray VBF", which is significantly more effective than ointments. Expanding the range of manufactured medicines opens up new possibilities in treating various groups of animal diseases.
Veterinary preparations by Dolzhansk pharmacists successfully treat cattle, pigs, sheep, rabbits, domestic hamsters, birds, and even fish.
A group of consultants has been created at the enterprise to, as they say, convey information about the advantages of new developments, the whole truth about disease agents, means and methods of combating them, directly to consumers.
– One of the tasks facing the team is the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products, – continues Sergey Alexandrovich. – And we are successfully coping with it. Thanks to our developments, the livestock and pig farming industries of the region and the republic are currently fully provided with high-quality and effective drugs and vaccines to meet their needs.
For example, previously the state purchased the drug "Rabivak" from Russia for more than $1.7 million. In 2019, "BelVitunipharm" is ready to offer a similar drug, "Rabivit", thereby reducing the share of imported veterinary drugs into the Republic of Belarus.
