Free medical consultations and health products await visitors to the fair in Novopolotsk

Residents of Novopolotsk will be offered free medical consultations and diagnostic tests, and will be introduced to the latest products and goods for a healthy lifestyle at the "Health Fair-2015" exhibition, the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee reported.

On October 22-23, the "Health Fair-2015" will be held at the City Culture Center for residents and guests. During these days, from 11:00 to 17:00, everyone will be able to receive free consultations from doctors: pediatrician, therapist, ophthalmologist, dermatovenerologist, psychotherapist, psychologist, valeologist, endocrinologist, epidemiologist, and other specialists.

And all visitors will be provided with the opportunity to undergo diagnostic tests free of charge: determine blood glucose levels, get an express assessment of their health status with subsequent specialist consultation, measure blood pressure, intraocular pressure, assess stress levels, detect emotional burnout syndrome, and more.

Educational seminars "Stress and Health," "Responsible and Safe Behavior - the Key to Success in Life," "The Mechanism of Health-Improving Honey" will also be held; video materials on a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention will be demonstrated; meetings of students from secondary vocational schools with famous athletes of the city will take place. And, of course, an exhibition-sale of medical products, dietary supplements, herbal teas, diet products, bio-vitamin and mineral complexes, natural health products, household medical devices, tableware, and natural cosmetics will be organized. The sports, tourism, and rehabilitation opportunities of the city will be presented. And the foyer will be transformed into a kind of library hall with literature on health preservation and strengthening. The "Health Fair" is being held in Novopolotsk for the second time, having established itself as an effective method of promotion.

Through this event, citizens will realize the importance of regular medical examinations aimed at early detection of socially significant diseases. The fair is organized by the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, the central city hospital, and the city center for hygiene and epidemiology.
