Visa-free entry for citizens of Lithuania and Latvia is allowed until the end of the year

Given the high demand for Belarusian visa-free travel from foreign citizens, the country's leadership has decided to extend the visa-free entry privilege. Citizens of Lithuania and citizens (non-citizens) of Latvia will be able to enter Belarus without a visa until December 31 inclusive.

In total, from April 15 to May 15, almost 12,000 citizens of Lithuania and Latvia passed through Belarus in the area of responsibility of the Polotsk Border Detachment at three international border crossing points: Grigorovshchina, Urbany, and Vidzy.

The number of border patrol shifts has been increased at the border crossing points, and border guards are ready for the increased passenger traffic.

We remind you that crossing the border without a visa for citizens of Lithuania, Latvia (and persons with the status of non-citizen of Latvia) will be possible at the border crossing points on the Belarusian-Latvian and Belarusian-Lithuanian sections of the border. During this period, the specified categories of citizens can use the right of visa-free entry to Belarus an unlimited number of times.

Upon entry, they need to present a passport, a green card when traveling by car, a negative PCR test or a vaccination certificate, and have medical insurance.
