Favorable weather for harvesting has intensified field work in the Vitebsk region.
According to operational information as of August 3, in Vitebsk region, grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from an area of 49.9 thousand hectares (12.8 percent of the plan). 157.8 thousand tons of grain have been threshed. The average yield is 31.6 centners per hectare.
Young grain growers from Senno district are leading in professional competitions. Among the youth crews of the region, the best result belongs to combine operator Sergey Sukhval and his assistant Denis Ostapovich (in the photo). Workers of OJSC "Sennensky Rayag-ro-service" on a KZS-1218 combine harvested 142 hectares of grain and threshed 670 tons of grain. Sergey and Denis are not new to the harvest season. Last year, they became the first thousand-tonners of the district. And they do not intend to give up their leading positions in this harvest. Their colleague Alexander Sukhval, who works on grain transportation, also became the leader of the competition among drivers under 31 years of age. On a MAZ-6501A8 truck, he delivered 1219 tons of grain to the farm's granaries.
The youth crew of Anton Dailidenok and Sergey Zubarev from OJSC "Ivansky-Agro" of Chashniki district, whose work was also noted by the regional committee of the trade union of agricultural workers, slightly surpassed the Senno residents in terms of harvested area, but yielded to them in threshed grain. Their result is 511 tons. The leadership among the youth is shared with him by driver also from "Ivansky-Agro" Nikolay Vyatokha, who transported 937 tons of grain.
Among the harvest heroes over 31 years old, the leadership is held by the crew of Anatoly and Andrey Marshalov from OJSC "Mayak Vysokoe" of Orsha district. On a KZS-1218 combine harvester, they harvested 166 hectares and threshed 590 tons of grain. For transportation, the best result belongs to Alexander Batyan (OJSC "Yakubovo-Agro" of Dubrovno district), who transported 1279 tons of grain by a MAZ-555 truck. The best production indicators on drying units are held by operators Ivan Isachenko and Viktor Gorbach from OJSC "Agrokombinat "Yubileiny" of Orsha district. On a KZSVS-30G-R unit, they dried 3500 tons of grain.
The most productive farm in the region is OJSC "Yakubovo-Agro" of Dubrovno district, where they obtain 64.9 centners of grain per hectare.
