Благотворительная акция «Наши дети» в Витебской области стартовала в Бешенковичах
The traditional charity event "Our Children" will be held widely and brightly in the region. As part of this event, on the eve and after the New Year, adults will surround children from large, low-income, single-parent families, orphans and children left without parental care, and children with disabilities with special attention. The good deed campaign started in Beshenkovichi. Yana and Artur Yatsuk were the first recipients.

Early in the morning, Ded Moroz and Snegurochka appeared at the doorstep of the Yatsuk family's apartment, bringing the New Year's mood. The children were also congratulated by Irina Levkovich – a member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly, head of the main department of trade and services of the regional executive committee, Marina Novitskaya – chairman of the regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, head of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee, and representatives of the education department of the Beshenkovichi district executive committee, who offered the children many warm words, wishes for health, well-being, and peace.

As Viktor Yatsuk, a worker at one of the district's construction enterprises, shared, he is raising the children alone. The family's rhythm of life is well-established. In the morning, the children go to school, and the father goes to work. Yana is in the 9th grade of Beshenkovichi Secondary School No. 1 named after I. Storchko, she studies well, likes humanities, is interested in art, and dreams of becoming a teacher. Artur is a fourth-grader at Beshenkovichi Secondary School No. 2 named after M. Tkachenko. Yana takes care of her brother, picks him up from school, helps her dad around the house, and also looks after the family's beloved pets – two domestic cats. The girl is proud of her brother's talent for drawing and clay modeling. Artur attends the "Paper Fantasies" interest club at the district center for children and youth and a school ceramics club, and the boy creates very beautiful creative works, which were shown to the guests.

– May luck accompany you in everything, and may you persistently pursue your dreams. We wish you goodness, health, peace, and well-being, – Irina Levkovich addressed the children.

The guests did not come empty-handed. The children were presented with paint-by-numbers kits, food baskets, and New Year's sweet gifts, while the family received sets of kitchenware.

The charitable campaign "Our Children" will traditionally last until January 15. An event called "From the Bottom of Our Hearts" will be held for the elderly, with the concept that people of advanced age, as well as those who are lonely or live alone, will not be left without a festive atmosphere.

– These traditional charitable events are not just a formality; they are intended for people who need warm human participation and a kind word, noted Marina Novitskaya. – Their organizers are caring people ready to provide assistance and moral support, and to create a small New Year's miracle.
