The 16th anniversary of BRSM in the Vitebsk region will be celebrated with the improvement of their small homeland, as reported by the regional committee of the organization.
Today marks the 16th anniversary of the establishment of the largest youth organization in Belarus - the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union". On this day, the youth of the Vitebsk region will join the republican project "#ZaDelo!" (For Action!), which calls on every young person to get to work, improve and tidy up their small homeland, and do something important and useful.
In the Pervomaisky district of Vitebsk, activists will tidy up a playground and carry out cosmetic repairs to a hockey rink at 5 Voinev-Internatsionalistov Street. In Braslav, a recreation area will be improved on the school grounds, and in Glubokoye, a memorial alley dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Komsomol will be planted.
Similar events will be held in other district centers of the northern region. In the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk, more than 30 young Belarusians will join the large and friendly BRSM family. At the Museum of Minay Shmyrev, they will be congratulated and presented with new-style membership cards by the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee (who recently headed the regional committee of the youth organization), Viktor Glushin.
Over its 16 years of existence, BRSM has become the most numerous youth association in the country and a leading organization in the republic for implementing youth policy. The organization has many traditions of the youth movement that unite thousands of people.
