The Bogushevskoye Children's Social Boarding House "Lucherny" is 50 years old! Alexander Subbotin congratulated the staff
Currently, it houses 248 residents aged 4 to 42 years. The following departments have been established: children's, psychoneurological, supported living, palliative care, and rehabilitation and habilitation for children with disabilities and psycho-physical developmental disorders. The boarding school provides short-term and day care services, as well as social respite, where parents can leave their child for up to 56 days. A rehabilitation department has been opened, where children can stay free of charge for up to 30 days once a year.
– Despite the excellent living conditions created here and the improvement of the material and technical base, without the care and love that the boarding school staff gives to its residents, they cannot do without it, – noted the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, congratulating the team. – Thanks to you, the world becomes kinder and better.
Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus Natalia Pavlyuchenko emphasized that the interesting experience gained by "Luchezarny" is being adopted by similar institutions throughout the republic. Continuity of generations is preserved here, based on love for their wards. The boarding school staff identifies and develops the talents and abilities of children, improves their quality of life every day, and helps them transition into adult life with a good foundation.
