More than 130 delegates took part in the 9th reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk regional organization of the BHOOV

The results of five years of work, as well as the active longevity program, issues of perpetuating the memory of the Fatherland defenders and victims of wars, and patriotic education of the younger generation were discussed at the 9th reporting and election conference of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans.

134 delegates took part in the conference, which was held in a video format. The head of the regional organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans, Sergey Olsevich, acquainted the attendees with the results of the organization's activities for 2016-2020. Unfortunately, the news of veterans who have passed away becomes sad news for everyone every year. The attendees honored their memory with a minute of silence.

The work of the Vitebsk regional organization of the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans was given a positive assessment at the conference. The management staff remained the same by unanimous decision.

In the next 5 years, work will continue on the implementation of the active longevity program, on perpetuating the memory of the Fatherland defenders and victims of wars, on patriotic education of the younger generation, and on strengthening intergenerational ties, noted Sergey Olsevich.

The final chord of the conference was the solemn awarding of the most active participants in the veteran movement.
