More than 170 youth crews are participating in the harvest campaign in the Vitebsk region

"As always, the region's youth has actively joined the harvest campaign. During this busy period, territorial structures of the BRSM, together with trade union organizations, the "Belaya Rus" NGO, and the youth affairs departments of district executive committees, are holding competitions among youth crews and young drivers. This year, 173 youth crews and 107 young drivers are involved in the harvest. Youth in the Braslav district have joined particularly massively: 19 crews and 17 drivers. They are followed by Verkhnedvinsk (16 crews and 8 drivers) and Dubrovno (15 crews and 4 drivers)," said Vyacheslav Khrol, the second secretary of the regional committee.

Events are planned in all districts to honor young combine operators and drivers during the harvest. And at the regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2017" in Dubrovno, the best young workers will receive well-deserved awards. Students and schoolchildren of the Vitebsk region are also making their feasible contribution. The students are working as part of agricultural student teams, engaged in cleaning storage facilities, drying grain, and weeding. Despite the fact that agricultural teams are mostly formed in mid-August - early September, 19 teams, comprising 212 people, have already started working to date.
