More than 2 million rubles were spent on the overhaul of Zaslonovskaya Secondary School

More than Br2 million was spent on the capital repairs of the Zaslonovskaya Secondary School in the Lepel district during the second construction phase.

Last year, repair work was already carried out at the school; the building constructed in 1953 was reconstructed, where the canteen, classrooms were renovated, and thermal insulation was carried out. This year, funds allocated from the republican, regional, and district budgets were directed to replace the roofing, windows, thermal insulation of the second wing of the school, electrical work, installation of a new fire alarm system, and partial landscaping of the territory.

The upgrades in educational institutions will not end there. "The third phase of modernization, which will require approximately more than Br1.8 million, will include external work on the canteen, partial landscaping of the adjacent territory, modernization of the school stadium, where it is planned to install an artificial turf, and renovation of the sports hall," said Mikhail Kiselevich.

Igor Sergeenko, Head of the Belarus President Administration, who took part in the opening ceremony of the renovated section of the school, noted that the Football Federation of Belarus (FFB) could participate in the stadium repairs. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee said that such cooperation with the FFB has long been established in the district, and the sports association provides assistance in equipping football fields. However, specialists from Lepel region also actively participate in such work, carrying out all the necessary construction work on site.

Igor Sergeenko congratulated the children and teachers on an important event, the improvement of study and work conditions, and presented the school with a certificate for the purchase of a multi-board, which will be used here in lessons. Also, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin and the Minister of Defense Viktor Khrenin arrived not empty-handed, handing over certificates to the director of the Zaslonovskaya school to improve the material and technical base of the educational institution.-0-
