More than 2,000 Vitebsk residents took part in the events of the republican youth marathon "65!"

More than 2,000 Vitebsk residents took part in the events of the republican youth marathon "65!" today, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM informed a BELTA correspondent. Vitebsk became the first city on the route of the participants of the auto-moto rally. Together with young people, veterans, representatives of local authorities and the public, they took part in a festive rally at the "Order of Victory" monument, in an event to admit students to the BRSM, and also watched a sports and technical show and a performance by the "Road Hounds" motorcycle club. One of the main events was a visit to the regional territorial center for social services for veterans and disabled people, where a charity concert "Heirs of Victory" was held. The celebration concluded with thematic flash mobs by BRSM activists and a demonstration performance by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs security forces. The "Roads of Victory" auto-moto rally is held as part of the "65!" youth marathon on the initiative of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. Among its participants are veterans of the Great Patriotic War, creative youth, stars of the Belarusian stage, students of technical creativity centers, representatives of internal affairs bodies and units, the Armed Forces, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The next destination for the participants of the event will be Mogilev, after which they will be welcomed in Gomel, Brest, and Grodno. The youth marathon will conclude on May 3 with the concert program "Salute to Victory" at the "Kurgan Slavy" memorial complex. -0-
