More than 20,000 people participated daily in the "Slavianski Bazaar" events over the weekend

More than 20,000 people attended mass events in Vitebsk at the Slavianski Bazaar Arts Festival last weekend, the Public Relations Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. Despite the large number of people, the operational situation in the city is calm. In confirmation, the Internal Affairs Directorate provided data on offenses recorded since the beginning of the concert events of the XXI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". Thus, 347 people were brought to administrative responsibility, while for the same number of days of last year's festival, there were 440. The number of petty hooliganism cases has decreased, and the number of hooliganism cases committed in public places has almost halved. About 100 people were placed in the sobering-up station of the Internal Affairs Directorate during these days. Out of the total number of administrative protocols drawn up, 33 were against non-resident citizens. -0-
