More than 200 representatives from the Vitebsk region have gone to the Second Republican Forum "The World in the Hands of Women"
The forum will be held at the Palace of the Republic. The participants of the event will loudly declare the civic position of the country's women on the most important issues of society's life.
– Women are life, and life is peace. Going to the forum, we stand for peace in the country, for the well-being of our children, for the president, – noted the chairperson of the city organization of the public association "Belarusian Union of Women" **Natalia Kultenko**. – A woman is the keeper of the hearth, she is destined by God to give birth to children, create comfort, maintain peace and well-being in families. They say that the Lord hears women's prayers first. Men cannot speak so reverently and sincerely about peace as we can.
The women of Vitebsk region are doing everything possible to preserve traditions, strengthen the institution of the family, and enhance the role of women in society. In the Year of Historical Memory, special attention is paid to the implementation of the project "The Fate of My Family in the History of My Country," which is designed to preserve the truth about the military exploits of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers.
It is important that among the activists of the women's movement there are many young people who support the principles of the organization and adopt traditions.
