More than 2.1 thousand liters of sunflower oil worth Br31 million confiscated from an enterprise in the Gluboksky district
April 30, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Over 2.1 thousand liters of sunflower oil worth Br31 million were confiscated from an enterprise in the Gluboksky district, the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent.
The Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus for the Gluboksky district, during an unscheduled thematic operational inspection of one of the joint-stock companies, discovered goods at the warehouse - 2140 liters of refined sunflower oil. The inspectors were presented with a contract for the supply of oil concluded with a private trading enterprise, a waybill, as well as other documents confirming the quality and safety of the oil. However, during control measures, employees of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Gluboksky district, together with law enforcement agencies, established that the waybill had no legal force. The director of the private trading enterprise did not confirm the fact of concluding a contract with the joint-stock company for the supply of oil under the specified waybill, and the loading point indicated in the waybill does not correspond to reality.
By the decision of the Economic Court of the Vitebsk region, the joint-stock company was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of Br3 million with confiscation of goods.
In the first quarter of 2012, tax inspectorates of the Vitebsk region conducted more than 860 effective unscheduled thematic operational inspections. As a result, more than Br29 million in taxes were additionally charged, and commodity-money values and cash worth Br0.9 billion were converted into state revenue. 35 violations of the legislation regulating the procedure for acquiring, transporting, and selling goods were identified. Due to the absence of documents confirming the acquisition or release of goods for sale from business entities, commodity-money values worth more than Br760 million were seized. In addition, they will have to pay fines totaling more than Br40 million. -0-
