More than 30 permanent school fairs will be set up in the Vitebsk region

July 18, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Trade enterprises of the Vitebsk region have opened the season of preparing schoolchildren for the new academic year, the trade and services department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent.

From July 15 to October 1, expanded sales of stationery, clothing, and footwear for schoolchildren will be held in the region. In cities and district centers of the region, enterprises will organize more than 30 permanent school bazaars, where small retail and mobile trade will be carried out. Expanded fairs for the sale of school goods with the participation of creative groups will be held in the region on August 20 and 27. On these days, parents and children will be able to combine necessary shopping with a pleasant cultural program and participate in contests.

Equipping a junior student this season will cost Vitebsk residents from Br430 thousand to Br1.1 million, and a senior student - Br520 thousand - 1.2 million. At the same time, by the order of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, a restriction on trade markups for school goods up to 25% has been established until September 15.

Currently, many stores in the region have already displayed their goods for equipping students. For example, the Vitebsk Department Store alone offers its customers more than 50 models of suits for boys and girls, the trade department noted. -0-
