More than 300 taxpayers in the Vitebsk region have assessed the effectiveness of electronic declaration

July 10, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. More than 200 taxpayers in the Vitebsk region use the electronic method of submitting declarations, and about 100 more business entities will join electronic declaration in the near future. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Tatyana Myasoedova, First Deputy Head of the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Vitebsk Region. Enterprises and organizations in Novopolotsk, Vitebsk, and Orsha are most actively reporting on the fulfillment of tax obligations electronically, including two individual entrepreneurs who submit electronic declarations. The region's tax inspectorates are constantly working to popularize this method of submitting declarations among taxpayers, and organize training on working with electronic declaration. For this purpose, a specially equipped classroom with 8 computers has been created at the regional inspectorate. In total, more than 1.1 thousand representatives of enterprises, individual entrepreneurs, and even individuals have undergone training in the classroom in the region, and individuals are also expressing a desire to acquire the relevant skills. Training events allow enterprise specialists to overcome stereotypes and practically assess the simplicity and efficiency of electronic declaration, Tatyana Myasoedova emphasized. Belarusian tax authorities have been accepting electronic declarations from all interested parties, including individual entrepreneurs and individuals, since April 1. To work with the electronic declaration system, it is necessary to register as a subscriber of the certifying center, i.e., the Information and Publishing Center for Taxes and Duties, which is located in Minsk. The center issues the subscriber with a hardware carrier of key information, a disk with software for working with an electronic digital signature, and other documents. Then, the taxpayer must install the software on a computer with Internet access, after which they will be able to prepare and transmit electronic tax declarations to the tax authorities. -0-
