More than 40 financiers from the Vitebsk region have been awarded prizes on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the service
Today, 231 people work in the financial bodies of local executive authorities – this is a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to their work, capable of solving complex problems, and the results of their labor lay the foundation for the development of the economy and social sphere of the Vitebsk region.
In the vast majority, women are the managers of finance in the region. For 70 people, the financial body became the first and only place of work, and half of them have more than 30 years of service.
As noted by Gennady Grebnev, Head of the Main Financial Department of the Regional Executive Committee, the work biographies of Inna Yushchenko, Olga Tolochko, Alexander Radchenko, Lyudmila Misuragina, Olga Merkuryeva, and Evgenia Bordushko are an example of the highest responsibility and professionalism. The system also carefully treats young personnel; the world of finance opens the way for those who implement bold ideas, do it with inspiration and perseverance, and are focused on results.
Congratulating the financial workers, Oleg Matskevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, paid tribute to their talents, literacy, as well as the accuracy of the documents they prepared and the commendable corporate culture.
— Counting on budget support for the real sector of the economy, we realize that the budget in the country is socially oriented, we understand why we collect taxes, and we clearly feel how you subsequently work diligently on their rational and maximally useful distribution, — emphasized Oleg Matskevich.
Many kind words were addressed to the financiers by the heads of the Ministry of Finance, banking structures, organizations, and departments that are partners in the implementation of the budget process. Among the honored guests were veterans of the financial system, which gave the holiday special warmth and sincerity.
The highlight of the celebration was the numerous archival materials, rarities, and document copies about the formation and development of the financial service in the region, which is the oldest in Belarus.
