More than 50% of surveyed residents of the Vitebsk region are satisfied with the work of the "one-stop shop" service.
February 25, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. More than 50% of the surveyed residents of the Vitebsk region are satisfied with the work of the "one-stop shop" service. These are the data from the sociological survey "Opinion of residents of the Vitebsk region on the socio-economic development of the region", conducted at the end of 2009, presented today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by the Executive Director of the Regional Executive Committee Alexey Matyushko, BELTA correspondent reports.
75.9% of respondents are satisfied with the resolution of their issues when applying to city and district executive committees. However, 39.7% of respondents found it difficult to answer about the quality of the "one-stop shop" service.
As Alexey Matyushko noted, regulations for the operation of this service have been approved in all city and district administrations, citizens' reception without a lunch break and duty of specialists on weekends have been organized. Preliminary work has been carried out in the executive committees to implement electronic information exchange between structural divisions and other organizations for prompt resolution of issues. Soon, all "one-stop shop" services will have a special software package recommended by the Ministry of Justice.
As a consequence, the number of citizens' applications for administrative procedures in the region, considered with requests for information and documents from other instances, has increased. In 2009, more than 90 thousand applications were received by city and district executive committees, local administrations, of which almost 54 thousand, or 57%, were executed with requests. For comparison, in the first half of the year, less than 10% of applications were processed upon request.
At the same time, in 10 city and district executive committees, the "one-stop shop" service is not an independent unit, it consists of one or more employees who are part of various structural divisions, for example, ideologists, specialists of departments for youth affairs, education. The staffing of the service does not meet the requirements.
By the decision of the Regional Executive Committee, all identified shortcomings in the work of the "one-stop shop" service must be resolved in the district and city administrations by April 1 of the current year. -0-
