Yuri Derkach presents a certificate of honor of the regional executive committee to pediatrician and mother of five children, Marina Kremis
In particular, Marina Kremis, a district pediatrician at the children's polyclinic of the regional children's clinical center, was awarded a Certificate of Honor of the regional executive committee for conscientious work, success in her profession, and contribution to the development of healthcare. She is dedicated to the health of over a thousand young patients in her district. And as a doctor, she finds no greater joy than writing "recovered" and closing a sick leave certificate. As a mother of five children born in consecutive years, she believes that family well-being largely depends on the atmosphere at home and shared interests – this creates comfort for both adults and children.
Olesya Zueva's family grew rapidly after they built a large house, although the couple never thought they would become parents of many children. They acquired this new status with the arrival of twins, bringing the total number of children in their home to four. The key to success in family matters and at work for the Zuevs is that they are both in the same profession: the wife is a pediatrician and an associate professor at the Department of Pediatrics of VSMU, and the husband is a pediatric surgeon. By the way, they have a whole labor dynasty: Olesya's aunt is a doctor, and her husband is from a medical family. Their children may continue their legacy: their eldest son, although only 10 years old, already declares his desire to be like his father, and their middle daughter plays with a children's stethoscope and thermometer.
– Sometimes I wish my husband had more free time for the family, but as a doctor myself, I understand him in many ways. It's also important when people are in the same profession; it greatly simplifies family life and mutual understanding, – believes Olesya.
Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatrics of VGMU, Olesya Zueva, became a mother of many children with the birth of twins.
For every family with children, not only mutual support, but also support from the state, departments, and trade unions is important.
As noted by Vladislav Murichenko, Chairman of the regional committee of the trade union of healthcare workers, systematic and consistent work is being carried out in the industry for the social protection of families with children. For example, 3,341 children received financial assistance for school preparation totaling 120 thousand rubles. Half of the funds were allocated by primary trade union organizations, and the other part by employers using extra-budgetary resources in accordance with collective agreements. Trade unions also lend a hand to young families, providing support of about 70 thousand rubles over six months.
This large-scale holiday for Mother's Day is being held in the industry for the first time.
– I think we will make it a tradition because supporting family values, and protecting motherhood and childhood are the core activities of the healthcare system, and we must undoubtedly implement, develop, and actively seek new forms of organizing this work, – summarized Vladislav Anatolyevich.
Yuri Derkach, Head of the Healthcare Department of the Regional Executive Committee, congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming Mother's Day. He thanked the women for working in their regions, thereby creating the foundation of healthcare that ensures assistance to all residents, as well as for the maternal warmth and kindness they bring to the medical profession.
BY THE WAY: There are 608 mothers of many children working in the region's healthcare system, 17 of whom have been awarded the Order of Motherhood. Among the medical staff, there are even women raising 7 children.
