October 25, Vitebsk / Sergey Kotovets - BELTA /. More than 600 students, postgraduates and young scientists will take part in the international scientific and practical conference "IV Masherov Readings" on October 28 and 29 at the Vitebsk State University named after P. Masherov (VSU), Veronika Karaterzi, Chairperson of the Council of the University's Student Scientific Society, told a BELTA correspondent. This year, the traditional scientific conference will have international status for the first time. Representatives of about 55 universities and research institutions from all regions of Belarus, as well as Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, will gather at the Vitebsk university. The main goals of the conference are to popularize scientific activities, provide assistance to young people in realizing their potential in the scientific field, and support them on their way to success in research work. Given the expansion of the geography of participant representation, the conference will contribute to the development of international cooperation among young scientists. The format of the event will allow young researchers to exchange experiences, ideas and developments, discuss problematic issues and, possibly, identify promising areas for cooperation on various research topics. During the scientific forum, 10 sections will operate on various topics of scientific interests and priority areas of scientific research. For example, participants will discuss the development of mathematical modeling theory and its application in education and production processes, and share opinions on the fundamental principles of creating nanomaterials. Young scientists will be presented with issues of rational use of the resource potential of the Belarusian Lake District and environmental protection, problems of forming legal culture among youth, as well as the development of scientific and methodological support for the professional training of social sphere specialists at the university. Interesting discussions are expected during the work of sections on the design and modeling of the subject-spatial environment through design and decorative arts, and on the problems of society's spiritual culture. Organizers hope that the works submitted to the conference will form the basis for promising innovative projects that will find practical application. A two-volume collection of scientific works by participants will be published by the beginning of the conference. The organizers of the scientific and practical conference "IV Masherov Readings" are the Ministry of Education of Belarus and the educational institution "Vitebsk State University named after P.M.
