More than 63 million rubles will be allocated to finance the investment program of the Vitebsk region in 2019
According to Alexander Shidlovsky, Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Regional Executive Committee, when forming the program, the main attention is paid to increasing housing construction volumes, the construction of engineering and transport infrastructure, as well as providing residential areas with socially significant facilities. More than 70% of the funds provided for by the program will be directed to these purposes.
In addition, since the main task is to reduce the excess of unfinished construction, priority will be given to financing social infrastructure facilities, as well as new buildings with a high degree of readiness for commissioning in the near future.

Among these are the surgical building of the regional oncology dispensary, for the completion of the reconstruction of which about 5 million rubles are planned to be allocated in 2019, the "Polotsky" overpass in Vitebsk, and a dormitory building for 166 places at the "Zhemchuzhina" children's rehabilitation and health center in the Lepel district.
Significant work is to be carried out under the "Clean Water" program, for the financing of which more than 4 million rubles are planned. In the field of culture, about 1 million rubles are provided for the restoration of the former warehouse building for a local history museum in Lepel.
About 630 thousand rubles will be allocated for the construction of production facilities of the agro-industrial complex
For some positions of the regional investment program, funding will be provided on equal co-financing terms with the republican budget.
In addition, individual revenue and expenditure items of the regional budget for 2018 have been clarified, and adjustments to regional action plans for a number of sectoral programs have been approved.
