More than 70 settlements in the Vitebsk region remain without electricity

August 9, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA/. More than 70 settlements in the Vitebsk region, affected by strong winds, remain without electricity supply. This operational data as of 3:00 PM was reported to a BELTA correspondent by RUP Vitebskenergo. In total, over the past day, the power supply to 337 settlements was disrupted in the region, mainly in the Polotsk, Lepel, and Glubokoye districts. 84 Vitebskenergo crews, comprising over 350 specialists, and almost 90 units of equipment are involved in eliminating the consequences of the natural disaster. All necessary measures are being taken to restore power supply to the affected areas as soon as possible.-0-
