Before the start of the solemn award ceremony, the best students and teachers told us about their path to victory.
Denis Krotov, an 11th-grade student of Gymnasium No. 8 in Vitebsk:
— This year I received a third-degree diploma at the republican olympiad in mathematics. In general, this subject has always been my favorite at school. At first, I studied at Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 2, where the program is designed for in-depth study of languages, but I always strived for exact sciences. Once my dad saw an announcement on TV about enrollment in the class of the famous mathematics teacher Mikhail Nikolaevich Volkov. We decided to try. I successfully passed all entrance tests and have been studying at Vitebsk Gymnasium No. 8 since the 6th grade. Since then, I have been participating in all olympiads. In the 8th grade, I also received a third-degree diploma at the republican stage. I am not going to stop at what has been achieved and in the future I plan to connect my life with mathematics. After graduating from school, I will enter BSUIR. This year, the mathematics teacher Alexander Vladimirovich Shugol prepared me for the olympiad.
Anna Rybatskaya, an 11th-grade student of the Novopolotsk State Lyceum, became the owner of a first-degree diploma in Russian language and literature.
– My interest in these subjects appeared in elementary school. And somewhere from the 4th grade, I became seriously interested in the Russian language and literature, participated in various olympiads, but success came to me only now. For two years, I studied with the teacher of Russian language and literature Taisiya Leonidovna Mikheenko.
Regarding the choice of a future profession, I haven't decided yet who I want to become. But, undoubtedly, the knowledge gained during my studies and preparation for the Olympiad will help me realize myself in any field of activity.
Ilya Labeyko, a 10th-grade student at Gymnasium No. 2 in Novopolotsk, was also among the best this year. Now, he has a II degree diploma in Geography in his collection.
– I have been seriously studying geography for the third year. I have already had victories in Olympiads
