More than Br35 billion is planned to be allocated in the Vitebsk region in 2011 for social support of low-income citizens

В Витебской области социальную поддержку в январе-июле получили около 20 тыс. малообеспеченных граждан на общую сумму более Br10,4 млрд. из различных источников финансирования. До конца 2011 года на эти цели планируется направить еще около Br25 млрд., сообщил сегодня журналистам председатель комитета по труду, занятости и социальной защите облисполкома Александр Христофоров, передает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
За семь месяцев государственная адресная социальная помощь назначена более 8,6 тыс. гражданам на сумму Br3,3 млрд., в том числе на приобретение одежды, обуви, школьных принадлежностей такая помощь оказана более 2,3 тыс. малообеспеченным семьям (среди них свыше 1 тыс. многодетных семей) на сумму свыше Br1,2 млрд. Бесплатными продуктами питания обеспечены около 6,5 тыс. детей первых двух лет жизни, на эти цели направлено Br6,2 млрд.
Материальная помощь остронуждающимся неработающим пенсионерам и инвалидам из средств Фонда социальной защиты населения Минтруда оказана около 4,5 тыс. гражданам на общую сумму около Br0,6 млрд.
Over seven months, state targeted social assistance has been granted to more than 8.6 thousand citizens for Br3.3 billion, including for the purchase of clothing, footwear, and school supplies, such assistance was provided to more than 2.3 thousand low-income families (including over 1 thousand large families) for over Br1.2 billion. About 6.5 thousand children under two years of age have been provided with free food, with Br6.2 billion allocated for these purposes.
Material assistance to severely needy unemployed pensioners and disabled individuals from the funds of the Social Protection Fund of the Ministry of Labor has been provided to about 4.5 thousand citizens for a total amount of about Br0.6 billion.
In addition, assistance is provided to war veterans, family members of deceased servicemen, unemployed lonely elderly citizens in repairing apartments, houses, stoves, electrical wiring, installing electrical and gas equipment and plumbing, and installing autonomous fire detectors. Over seven months, such assistance was provided to almost 1.8 thousand residents of the region for Br180 million.
