Mashenka Shurpach with her mother Yulia. – Mashenka is kind and sociable, loves children and noisy holidays. Due to her peculiarities, she is a little tearful, but there is nothing terrible about it, – is sure **Yulia Shurpach**.

The girl's mother admitted that as soon as she was able to accept the fact that her child was special, it became easier for her to cope with all life's difficulties.

It is important that there are more and more people who are not indifferent to the problems of others. The director of the regional center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation, Marina Fedorova, said that the center has many friends.
– Gifts for each child were prepared by the regional branch of the Belarusian Children's Fund; for many years, military unit 5524 has remained a reliable partner of the center. Our students constantly attend performances at the Belarusian Puppet Theatre "Lyalka". This year, they even went to a suburban Christmas tree – to Ded Moroz's residence, – said Marina Fedorova.

She noted that attention to children with psychophysical development disorders is not limited to holiday gifts. The center has all the necessary equipment, which, combined with the professionalism of the teaching staff, allows for quality assistance to children. By the way, this year the institution celebrates its 30th anniversary. Center employees and veterans received awards and many words of gratitude on this day for their difficult but very important work.

– As children, we all expect something from New Year and Christmas, and as adults, we stop believing in miracles. It's just that the people who work with special children remain real wizards for all of us, – said the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, **Vladimir Terentyev**. – After all, there is nothing more important for parents than a child's health. And any improvement in their condition is perceived by loved ones as a miracle.

Vladimir Terentyev presented the center with a certificate for 10,000 rubles for the development of its material and technical base. The director of the regional branch of the Belarusian Children's Fund, Olga Obukhova, donated one thousand rubles to the center. Artists from the Regional Palace of Children and Youth showed the guests a performance "When the Christmas Trees Light Up".
