More than a thousand children from 4 countries will showcase their talents at the "Rainbow over Vitebsk" competition from July 14-16

The International Festival-Competition of Children's and Youth Creativity "Rainbow over Vitebsk" will be held for the tenth time during the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival, the organizers reported.

"Over these years, our festival has organically blended into the palette of vibrant events of the "Slavianski Bazaar", bringing its own flavor and the sincerity inherent in children's creativity," said the project curator Elena Podnebesnova. - More than 6.5 thousand boys and girls from different corners of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Israel, and other countries have participated in our forum during this time, demonstrating their talents on the concert stages of festive Vitebsk."

The festival-competition will start on July 14 with a colorful procession in the city center and a festive concert. This year, more than a thousand children from Belarus, Russia, Latvia, and Poland will take part in the events. By the way, guests from Latvia and Poland may come to the festival Vitebsk this year without visas. The children will demonstrate their skills in nominations such as instrumental, vocal-choral, folklore-ethnographic, choreographic, theatrical creativity, fine and decorative-applied arts. A professional jury, which includes honored cultural and art figures and renowned educators, will determine the best. The gala concert of the laureates and the award ceremony for the winners will take place on July 16 in the concert hall of the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic.

The organizers of the festival-competition - the Vitebsk City Center for Additional Education of Children and Youth, the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and the "Ilva" Tourist Information Center - have prepared an extensive program for the children. The festival anthem will be performed for the first time. A charity concert will be held at the Vitebsk boarding house for the elderly and disabled. A special program "Orange Mood" has been prepared for young artists at the "Island of Hope" club. Numerous concerts will give young talents the opportunity to fully express themselves, find new friends, and exchange creative experience.
