Great cleaning of the small homeland: Dmitry Demidov, together with members of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus", joined the subbotnik

On the day of the republican subbotnik, a labor contingent to house 15, building 1 on P. Brovka Street in Vitebsk was led by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Dmitry Demidov and the Rector of VSU named after P.M. Masherov Valentina Bogatyreva. They are members of the Supreme Political Council of the Belarusian Party "Belaya Rus" and were joined by fellow party activists. Together, they tidied up the perimeter of the house, replaced and painted benches near the entrances and on the playground, and also planted trees. By the way, the sumac and fir trees with closed root systems were grown in the VSU Botanical Garden.

— The main goal of the subbotnik is to tidy up and landscape, so that our cities and villages look cozy and neat, — shared Dmitry Demidov. — It is equally important that the funds from the subbotnik will traditionally be used to support holy places and preserve historical memory. This year, funds will be directed to the improvement of the Memorial "To Children - Victims of War" in the settlement of Krasny Bereg and to the creation of the Republican Center for Patriotic Education of Youth on the basis of the Kobrin Fortress of the Brest Fortress. 30 percent of the funds from the subbotnik that remain in the region will also be directed to maintaining memorable places in a dignified condition.

Valentina Bogatyreva explained that not only party members, but also deputies of the regional and city Soviets are working at this facility. They received a request from voters, which they decided to fulfill together, including active, caring members and candidate members of the Belarusian party "Belaya Rus".
During the event to improve the territory, its initiators also communicated with the residents of the house. The optimistic conclusion of the labor action was a performance by creative youth - university students.
