"The Big Conversation with the President" evoked pride in the country and its leader - Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper "Lepelsky Krai"
"The first thing that impressed me at 'A Big Conversation' was the President's closeness to the people. He answered all questions competently, sincerely, from the heart, talking as if to his close ones – simply and openly. He spoke with representatives of foreign media in a restrained manner, with respect, despite the fact that they persistently returned to the same topic," noted Svetlana Voznyak.
During "A Big Conversation," she followed the questions of her Belarusian colleagues with particular attention. She liked the statements of Grigory Azarenok and Yulia Artiukh about the events of a year ago. "These people were and are still on the front lines, they know the situation from the inside, so they can tell a lot to representatives of American and British media. I was impressed by how Yulia Artiukh addressed foreign journalists with the question of whether they were interested in the opinion of ordinary people, and that she, as a wife and mother, is ready to talk about what she saw with her own eyes," emphasized the editor-in-chief.
She was also pleased by the warm story of a representative from Georgia, who, before "A Big Conversation," went out onto the streets of Minsk and conducted his own sociological survey, asking the residents of the capital if they were satisfied with the current situation in the country, their lives, and the leader of Belarus. At the same time, he received only positive feedback, and he himself noted how calm the streets of the country's main city were.
"We, ordinary Belarusians, care about our country. We want to be heard on the world stage and to be valued and respected. Throughout the entire meeting with the President, the theme of unity was evident. Our country is in safe hands, we are united, we follow our own path and do not interfere in the affairs of other states. Therefore, we want to be treated the same way," shared Svetlana Voznyak.
