Braslav district presented six projects worth $10 million at the investment forum in Vitebsk.

October 15, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Braslav district presented six projects worth a total of $10 million at the autumn investment forum in Vitebsk, the deputy chairman of the Braslav district executive committee, Valentina Vysotskaya, told a BELTA correspondent. The district brought investment projects related to the development of its infrastructure to the third forum. Thus, it is planned to build a children's cafe in the city center and an outdoor children's water park in Braslav. The latter facility will be located in a picturesque place on the shore of Lake Drivyaty, the largest in the district (fifth largest in Belarus). It will operate during the summer period. The district pays the closest attention to the development of roadside services. Therefore, one of the projects is related to the creation of a complex providing services in this area on a busy highway. It will include a car wash, a gas station, a service station, and an auto parts store. Another proposal is related to the opening of a shopping and entertainment center with a developed service system based on the "Vidzy" recreation center. Its implementation will attract a larger number of tourists to the Braslav region even in the off-season, the interlocutor is sure. In 2010, it is planned to reconstruct a hotel located in Braslav. The facility is in district communal ownership. The district budget lacks its own funds for construction work. To preserve its main purpose, the hotel will be put up for auction, Valentina Vysotskaya said. -0-
