Braslav Bakery has mastered the production of juice-containing non-alcoholic beverages
August 16, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The Braslav Bakery has mastered the production of juice-containing non-alcoholic beverages, the enterprise director Valery Petushko told a BELTA correspondent.
The new products are produced in 1.5-liter containers using existing equipment. The shelf life is 180 days. The assortment includes more than 10 types. These are drinks with gooseberry, cherry, apple, pear, raspberry, blackcurrant, apricot, and orange juice content. "Thanks to the development of juice-containing beverages, the plant's non-alcoholic product line has doubled to 25 items. However, their production volume has remained the same - about 6-8 thousand decaliters per month (in the summer period)," the director said. He explained that the new products partially replaced drinks made with nature-identical flavorings.
In January-July, the enterprise produced products worth Br3.6 billion, which is 132% of the same level last year. Labor productivity during this period was 130%. The share of new product types in the total production volume is 31.6%. Sales profitability for the first half of the year was 2.4%.
In 2011, investments in fixed capital are planned in the amount of about Br1.4 billion. These funds will be used to implement projects for the modernization of confectionery and bakery workshops with the acquisition of new technological equipment for them. In addition, the enterprise is considering the possibility of implementing a project in 2012 to convert the boiler room into a mini-CHP plant and update the production of non-alcoholic beverages.
The Braslav Bakery was founded in 1991. It is a branch of the Vitebskhlebprom RUPP. The range of products manufactured includes more than 50 types of bakery products, the same number of confectionery products, and 25 types of non-alcoholic beverages. The average number of employees is over 100 people.-0-
