Future builders from Vitebsk will begin internships in Poland
Students of the Vitebsk State Industrial and Construction College will begin internships in Poland from 2016, announced the director of the educational institution, Alexander Losyakin.
During the international forum "Innovative Entrepreneurship of the Vitebsk Region 'From Small to Great'," which took place in Vitebsk, an agreement on cooperation was signed between the administration of the Vitebsk college and the Complex of Secondary Specialized Educational Institutions of the city of Lodz (Poland).
"We will exchange experience to improve the quality of vocational education and strengthen comprehensive ties between educational institutions. The Polish side, which initiated the agreement, invited us to visit them. Therefore, in March next year, a large group of students (25-30 people) will go to Lodz, where they will participate in master classes and a professional skills competition," explained Alexander Losyakin. After the trip to Poland, a return visit to Vitebsk is planned. The college director is confident that the Poles also have something to learn from their Belarusian colleagues. However, it is also important that these exchanges will be accompanied by cultural and mass events, performances by artistic and sports groups. All this will contribute to the integration of both sides into the global educational space.
"During the summer period, longer internships for our students in Poland are planned, and for theirs in our country. Possibly with homestay. The agreement also provides for the exchange of educational and methodological materials, standard curricula for disciplines, as well as academic exchange of specialists for teaching activities, participation of students and vocational training masters in conferences and seminars, implementation of joint projects, scientific research, and other events," added Alexander Losyakin.
