An accountant from the Chashniki district inflated her salary for a year and a half

February 16, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. An employee of one of the enterprises in Chashniki District inflated her salary for a year and a half, and then left without notice. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Dmitry Orekhva, senior prosecutor of the department for supervision of the legality of court decisions in criminal cases and analysis of judicial practice of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office. From May 2009 to September 2010, the chief accountant of an organization for retraining personnel for the agro-industrial complex accrued herself a salary with "bonuses" unknown to the management. Various allowances, bonuses, and other material incentives, modest in amount, did not significantly affect her salary (about Br2 million over a year and a half), but made receiving it a very pleasant event. The cloudless flow of the respected lady's peaceful life was disrupted by news from Gogol's comedy "The Inspector General" (in this case, a drama). Without waiting for the arrival of "desired" guests, the woman decided to leave without notice. Using her official position as acting methodologist, she forged documents about her dismissal at her own request and by mutual agreement of the parties, and then left for the Minsk region. For embezzlement through abuse of official powers and forgery of documents, the resident of Chashniki District was sentenced to two years and two months of restriction of liberty with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions for three years. -0-
