Household problems and guardianship issues - Anatoly Linevich held a reception of citizens in Orsha
Work with citizens' appeals began with a direct telephone line. Thus, an employee of the "Zadneprovsky" Agricultural Production Cooperative, residing in the village of Rumino, complained about non-payment of wages: for December, she received only 50% of the amount indicated in the payslip. Another issue raised by the woman was related to the transfer of a pasture to a private tenant. Now, local residents, who own more than a dozen cows, have nowhere to graze their livestock. The significance of this latter problem was confirmed by another call from the same village with a similar appeal. Anatoly Linevich assured that the villagers would be allocated a pasture and instructed to promptly resolve the issue of wage payment.
Several appeals from residents of Orsha and the district concerned domestic problems that people could not solve on their own. For example, a resident of Orsha complained about a non-functioning heated towel rail, the repair of which she has been unable to obtain for five months. A resident of the agro-town of Mezhevo spoke about poor-quality repairs and a leaking roof of her house. "All these issues are current. I see no obstacles to their resolution; everything can be done," stated Anatoly Linevich.
A first-group disabled person from Orsha approached with several issues. The woman believes she fell victim to lottery ticket fraud, with the winnings being appropriated by others. She also encountered a problem with privatization. The district executive committee is aware of her situation. Despite this, Anatoly Linevich demanded that checks be carried out again for each of the woman's appeals.
Several calls were received from the Tolochin district. For example, a father of many children from the village of Evlakhi contacted us regarding a problem with a land plot, the area of which, he believes, was mistakenly reduced by "Belgiprozem". The man has been unable to resolve this issue on his own for several years, nor can he expand his private house. "Everything will be resolved in accordance with the law, but we will try to help," emphasized Anatoly Linevich, after listening to the applicant.
Thirty residents of the city and district registered for the personal reception of citizens. Four of the applicants' issues were resolved before its commencement. Some of the problems raised were related to guardianship. Thus, a man suffering from alcoholism risks losing his parental rights. He is trying to fight his addiction and has undergone several coding sessions for this purpose. His efforts are supported by the district executive committee, but the situation is assessed soberly. The court will make a decision, and its next session is scheduled for February 25. "Everything depends on you, on your desire to lead a normal life," said the President's aide after listening to the applicant.
A difficult situation has arisen for a girl from Orsha. As an orphan, she is entitled to a share of a room located in an apartment that is currently used by the main tenant as an office. There are no living conditions there. Moreover, the living space has a number of encumbrances, which currently prevent her from disposing of it. "This appeal requires serious study, we will investigate and keep it under control," said Anatoly Linevich, emphasizing that each issue must be considered from the perspective of how to help people.
Summing up, in a conversation with journalists, the President's aide once again stressed that any appeal, including repeated ones (and there were quite a few today), requires clarification. "People have repeatedly appealed to various authorities with these issues. Nevertheless, we will appoint checks for all of them, consider them, explain their rights to the people, and what specific actions can be taken in their situation," said Anatoly Linevich.
At the same time, a rather insignificant number of questions were received on the topic of improvement. "This indicates that everything was done in a timely manner, and general order is in place. But we cannot reduce attention to this issue," Anatoly Linevich is convinced. He particularly noted the people's concern: "They worry about orphans, youth, express their opinions on this matter, and we, for our part, will try to provide maximum assistance."
