Former estate in Beshenkovichi district to become a tourist service facility
Unused buildings and structures with a total area of almost 700 sq.m of the former "Nizgolovo" estate, built in the second half of the 19th century and having the status of a historical and cultural value, were put up for auction. The starting price of the lot was set at three basic units (1 basic unit is Br23). Two participants showed interest in the object, and the winner was determined at the 28th step of the auctioneer. It was individual entrepreneur Vladislav Meleshko from Minsk. He already has experience in reviving and operating similar historical objects in the Grodno region.
According to Vladislav Meleshko, he acquired real estate in the Vitebsk region for business development. At the initial stage, the entrepreneur intends to create a hotel-type recreation center, which will be rented out to tourists and outdoor enthusiasts. In the future, a tourist complex may be established here, and the historical appearance of the estate may be recreated.
Also, based on the auction results, buildings of the former educational and production combine in Polotsk were sold to a domestic investor for almost Br169 thousand. According to the representative of the new owner, it is planned to create a hotel complex on the basis of the real estate. The location of the objects also favors this: the windows of the building offer an excellent view of the St. Sophia Cathedral, as well as the embankment of the Western Dvina River. Another possible option for using the capital structures with a total area of over 1 thousand sq.m is considered to be reconstruction into residential apartments with their subsequent sale or lease.
As reported by the Vitebsk Regional Property Fund, since the beginning of the year, more than 20 real estate objects have been sold at auctions for a total amount of about Br270 thousand.
